Case Studies
A Leading London Financial Institution
This client is one of Europe's leading financial institutions. It chose to implement
Agresso to improve controls and financial information within the business unit.
The Agresso system had to interface with the client’s accounting system
- SUN. The Agresso modules implemented were Core Financials, European Fixed Assets,
Project Costing and Billing, the Purchasing element of Logistics, and
Web Requisitioning. The Agresso implementation was complex due to the level of
interactivity that it had to achieve within the existing architecture.
Isis consultants were involved from the selection stage of the process in August
2002 in order to ensure that the strategic design was both architecturally and
commercially sound and also to produce the System Requirements documentation.
An essential element of the system build is its ability to trace purchases from
accounting entries in the SUN system through to their point of origin in the
Agresso General Ledger and also to their associated modules (Purchasing and European
Fixed Assets). This meant ensuring that the setup of the Web Requisitioning element
was vital for audit trail purposes and for project costing and invoicing.
The system went live in November 2003. The client praised the commitment of Isis
staff during a busy go live process. Isis continues to provide this client with
systems development, training and support. We are currently constructing a bespoke
module to control cost of installations throughout the world.
